August 10, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
“What has COVID Taught us About Local Food and Beverage?”
with Libbie Market, The Apple Cart, Blue Bee Cider and Bow Tide Farms
We have missed our members so much over the last few months. We are ready to try a socially distanced indoor/outdoor meeting at Blue Bee Cider and hope you will join us! We’ll hear from four members of the local food scene who will discuss what the last four months has looked like in their businesses. Joining us will be:
-
Sam Dortch from Libbie Market
-
Barb Upchurch from The Apple Cart Co.
-
Mackenzie Smith from Blue Bee Cider
-
Joe Jenkins from Bow Tide Farms
We will have the garage doors open, chairs spaced apart in the shade, and hand sanitizer available. Blue Bee will have cold cider available for purchase and King of Clubs Brewing will be sampling cold brew coffee and kombucha.
**PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK WHEN ENTERING, EXITING, AND MOVING AROUND THE PREMISES. THE MEETING WILL BE LIMITED TO 30 GUESTS. THIS WILL BE A MEMBER ONLY MEETING.
**Meetings are free, we just ask that you register! Due to the size of this meeting, if you find you cannot attend as the date approaches, please release your ticket.

This meeting will look different than past meetings due to social distancing requirements. We ask that you please come in, get your beverage of choice and take your seat. We will not encourage networking for this meeting, so please do not linger afterwards. We will continue to monitor Virginia’s numbers and adjust if necessary as the date approaches. We appreciate your cooperation!
