Eat It, Virginia! is a podcast that offers a deep dive into the food, restaurants, and dining trends of Richmond and beyond. Hosted by CBS6’s Robey Martin and Scott Wise, Eat It, Virginia keeps its listeners up to date on hot spots in dining, local chefs, and businesses that support local food. Scott and Robey will sit down with Sub Rosa Bakery owners (and sibling duo) Evrim and Evin Dogu. Their bakery opened in Church Hill in 2012 and has quickly becoming a must visit destination in Richmond. Baking in a traditional wood-fired oven and focusing on regionally grown grains, the Dogu's are James Beard award nominees and have been featured in some of the biggest publications including Garden & Gun, Bon Appetit, and the New York Times.
