Real Local RVA’s October 2020 Meeting
October 26, 2020 @ 9:45 am - 11:30 am
“New Consumer Behaviors and How to Capitalize”
with Strategist Rebecca Thomas and Kevin Clay from Big Spoon Co.
The pandemic will change our world for years to come, and with these changes come new consumer behaviors and buying trends. We’ve asked two experts to join us to discuss this important topic and help our members think ahead and plan for the future of their business. Accepting the reality of new consumer behaviors is an important strategic step for any local business.
Rebecca Thomas is a lifelong entrepreneur with fifteen years in food. She has a particular talent for seeing what’s ahead, making important connections and explaining complexities with simplicity. Her company – clearbusinesswriting.com – helps business owners understand and articulate what’s uniquely valuable about what they do.
Kevin Clay is the President and Founding Partner of Big Spoon Co., a PR and marketing firm specializing in food, beverage, and hospitality. Kevin is a Richmond-native, founder of GayRVA.com and the Richmond LGBTQ Chamber, co-founder of the RVA Dine & Drink Facebook Group and member of Real Local RVA.
We will have the garage doors open, chairs spaced apart in the shade, and hand sanitizer available. Remember this is an outdoor meeting! Blue Bee will have cider available for purchase so plan to enjoy some there or take a bottle to go (think ahead for the holidays!)
**PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK WHEN ENTERING, EXITING, AND MOVING AROUND THE PREMISES. THE MEETING WILL BE LIMITED TO 30 GUESTS.
**Meetings are free, we just ask that you register! Due to the size of this meeting, if you find you cannot attend as the date approaches, please release your ticket.
This meeting will look different than past meetings due to social distancing requirements. We ask that you please come in, get your beverage of choice and take your seat. We will not encourage networking for this meeting, so please do not linger afterwards. We will continue to monitor Virginia’s numbers and adjust if necessary as the date approaches. We appreciate your cooperation!
